Mr.Obama what do you plan on doing about the problem Michgan is having with it's unepolment rate?
Um? Fair and balanced? Aren't you supposed to have coverage for both candidates?
Of course, it remains to be seen what will ultimately be accomplished by president elect Obama, his administration, and we the people of this country, but for the first time since I have been able to vote I am excited about the possibilities. I believe we may have just taken a very large first step towards a new direction and a very positive future on a world scale.
Speaking of unemployment, here's a tidbit that's going around on the Net:
From a Business owner.....
Fellow Business Executives:
As the CFO of this business that employs 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is the next President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that our Clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8%. However, since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off eight of our employees instead.
This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here at the company and I did not know how to choose who will have to be laid off.
So, this is what I did. As I strolled through our parking lot I found 8 of our employees' cars have Obama bumper stickers, and have decided these good folks will be the first to be laid off.
I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.
If you have a better idea, let me know.
